Il Tablà is a 400 years old Engadine hay barn. It was completely refurbished in 2015 and then stylishly equipped, with understated luxury, by professional designers. Duri Vital, a famous architect from Sent, renovated this Engadine barn with much loving care for detail.
The house is surrounded by approximately 700m2 of undeveloped land. The property is located at the upper edge of the village of Ardez where directly adjacent green meadows invite to walks; in winter a “beginners’ slope” with a ski-lift is also provided for there.
We felt extremely comfortable in the beautiful barn! The house and its surrounding are overwhelming! We love to come back!
Kurt & Annelies Bühler -May 2015The house fulfilled our expectations by far. We've never experienced such spacious room with such an awesome kitchen. We also loved the garden. Thank you for the friendly contact. See you soon again!
Rita Jaeger -June 2015Ardez is one of the best-preserved Engadine villages. As the charm of the old village has been completely preserved, it is seen as an example village of Romanesque living. The environment was chosen by the WWF as a priority protection area. The Steinberg ruins, with the remains of the St. Lucius chapel, sits high above the village and invite you for short walks, all rewarded with magnificent views.
Guided tours of the village are held regularly.
